The walk is known in English as the Way of Saint James among other names ,is a network of pilgrims' ways or pilgrimages leading to the shrine of the Apostle Saint James the Great in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the saint are buried.
Many follow it's routes as a form of spiritual path or retreat for their spiritual growth. It is also popular with hiking and cycling enthusiasts and organized tour groups.

God our Father,
Be with us on our pilgrim journey
Give us grace and courage to step forward in faith and love on the road ahead.
Open our eyes to see your face in all those we encounter.
Open our ears to hear your voice in those who are often ignored.
Open our hearts that we might be faithful disciples of mercy, truth and love.
Amen
